A week old Cocker Spaniel puppy was rescued in London, England from a toilet incident.
4-year-old Daniel Blair decided to give the puppy a bath and flushed him down the loo according to news reports.
Blair’s mom Alison realized what happened and checked the family’s outdoor drain and heard the tiny pup whimpering. She contacted firefighters immediately who had no such luck. Alison called a plumbing specialist, Dyno-Rod, who were able to use a special camera to locate the pup-20 yards under a neighbor’s house.
The puppy was retrieved in the nearest manhole. The puppy, Dyno, named after the rescuers, was cold and dirty but alive. —Jillian Wolande
