Sometimes the nicest gifts can’t be wrapped or put under a tree, but their effects are the longest lasting. That’s certainly the case with the Animal Welfare Project (AWP)’s matching grant request. The Alice Everard Charitable Foundation recently awarded the AWP a $25,000 grant. In order for AWP to receive the full amount, however, it has to raise $25,000 in matching funds by Dec. 31, 2008.
This is where your generosity—and tax-deductible donations—come in. You can visit AnimalWelfareProject.org to contribute. AWP is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that rescues and trains homeless dogs and horses to become adoptable into the wider community.
