Tuscon animal care center urgently needs help finding homes for puppies

In Uncategorized on May 7, 2008 at 4:34 pm

The Pima Animal Care Center (PACC) in Tuscon, AZ is desperately seeking anyone who can help adopt out 20 plus pups by this afternoon.

After an adult dog was found dead in a kennel due to Parvovirus, dogs within the same kennel had to be euthanized. Due to protocol, those within the same vicinity of the kennel have been given a 48-hour time frame to find a loving home. The 20-plus dogs will be euthanized if they don’t find a home by the deadline of this afternoon, May 7.

Other dogs for rescue who were nowhere near the kennel are available for rescue at half price. Temperament testing and transportation can be arranged, while CARES has offered to do blood work for free.

If you are interested in adopting, all dogs at home must be up to date on shots. Anyone looking for a new installment to the family should call PACC directly at (520) 243-5933.
