Man fights shark to save pup

Jake, a Rat Terrier from Florida, is thanking his lucky stars and his guardian after a harrowing shark encounter. Jake was enjoying his daily swim last Friday when a five-foot shark suddenly surfaced and grabbed the pooch in his mouth. According to the MSNBC report, the dog’s guardian, Greg LeNoir, said he yelled, balled up his fists, and dove into the water where he began punching the shark. The shark released Jake, who only suffered bite wounds, and was not critically injured.
