Deadline for AHA photo contest is approaching!

Time is running out, but there are still about two weeks left until the deadline to submit pictures to the American Humane Association’s 2009 Pets & Pals Photo Content, which ends on July 31.

The contest is awarding two grand-prize winners with $1,000 and four others with $500 category prizes. A child and animal protection organization, the American Humane Association created the contest to display great relationships between people and their pets.

The four categories include: Pets, People & Pets, Down on the Farm, and Shelter Life. So, whether your best friend is a puppy, a parakeet or a pig, you are encouraged to enter photos – at no limit.
